L7 (not the band)
- We are L7 - not the alternative musical group L7 - but a group of artists based in the Twin Cities with our geographical center being the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis - hence, the 'L' in our name. We found each other when we all signed up as protegés in the Women's Art Registry of Minnesota's (WARM) mentorship program. We get together every two weeks to play with art, inspire each other, plan ways to get our art out into the world and generally egg each other on. We always have fun. We often drink a little wine in the process as we engage in group art exercises or spend a few hours just discussing art and the world in which we live. But, just because we have fun doesn't mean we aren't serious about art. We are very serious about enjoying the process and sharing the results.
